A. Zodiacal signs have no basis in Islam. It is a man-made concept that has no significant bearing regarding the characteristics of people. Furthermore, these are tools of fortune tellers and soothsayers from which we have been commanded to abstain. In the Hadith, Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) has said:
“Whoever goes to a fortune teller or soothsayer and believes in what he says; has indeed disbelieved in what has been revealed to Muhammed (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam). (Musnad Ahmed, Hadith #: 9536, Narrated by Abu Hurayrah)
