Eid Frames for Somali Relief

Alhamdulillah, each student from Grades R to Class 4 participated in the Eid Frames for Somali Relief. The students had fun and it was all for a good cause. Each student payed a small fee for a frame and supplied art materials. All the proceeds of this went directly to the Somali Famine Relief. Subhaanallah over one thousand South African Rands were raised for this noble cause. The children were so pleased to take home their frames. We thank our Arts and Crafts teacher Muhtaramah Faheemah Docrat and her art team, Aadilah and Sameera.

We are currently busy on a project to distribute Qur’aans to Bihar, West Champaran. Keep a lookout for our follow-up on the Bihar Qur’aan project. I must add that our contribution is small as we are not a charitable organisation. We do whatever is in our means, but more about that when the Qur’aans reach it’s destination Inshā’allah!
