It is the 11th Dhul-Hijjah 1433 AH (coinciding with the 27th October 2012) and the Haajis are at Mina stoning all three stone pillars (Jamaraat). Animals eligible for Ud-hiyyah are goats, sheep, cattle and camels, male or female. No other type of animal is allowed for Ud-hiyyah.
